About Us

We are an educational design firm with decades of collective experience crafting impactful learning experiences using the principles of global citizenship education. Our passion lies in understanding the science of adult learning and the art of effective online teaching to empower and equip learners, students, parishioners, followers, employees, and trainees to become confident and capable leaders. We believe that truly transformative learning goes beyond simply delivering information. It requires a deep understanding of how adults learn, how to design engaging online ecosystems, and how to cultivate the skills necessary for individuals to speak up in the public square, deliver a compelling message behind the pulpit, and step into important leadership roles at work.

Tumbuh (‘tomb-boo“) is an Indonesian word meaning “to spring forth or to emerge.” We chose this name for our firm at the prompting of international colleagues who believed that this word most accurately described our work in the world.
